How to get Penn State Football Student Season Tickets in 2026

Author: Maddy Pryor

While the experience of buying season tickets has changed quite a bit over the years, the experience of going to a Penn State Football game hasn’t. From the drum major flip to the “We Are” chant to the singing of the alma mater, the student section leads the way in keeping up the exciting atmosphere.

Here’s how to request your student season tickets this year:

Students who are eligible to participate will get an email the week of July 13th with all of the instructions. Season tickets are $246 and include all 7 home regular season games. Students can get one season ticket each; all tickets are digital/mobile and will be accessed through the Penn State Student Account Manager. Your payment will be processed when the request is submitted (if the request is not selected, you will receive a full refund).

The week of the 20th is when you can submit your request online via the Penn State Student Account Manager.

  • Grad Students — Your window opens on July 20 at 9am and closes on July 27 at 5pm.

  • Seniors — Your window opens onJuly 21 at 9am and closes on July 28 at 5pm.

  • Juniors — Your window opens on July 22 at 9am and closes on July 29 at 5pm.

  • Sophomores — Your window opens on July 23 at 9am and closes on July 30 at 5pm.

  • Freshmen — Your window opens on July 24 at 9am and closes on July 31 at 5pm.

  • Commonwealth campus students, Penn College students, and World Campus students can participate in the process in these same timeframes.

The time you request has no bearing on your selection, it is a random lottery, so don’t panic about signing on at exactly 9am on your assigned day.

Students will be notified via email if they have been selected during the week of August 3.

If you aren’t able to get season tickets, don’t fret! Students can still buy (or sell) student tickets through Verified Student Resale. Non-student section tickets can be found on Ticketmaster and third party sites.

You can visit Penn State Athletics, call 1-800-NITTANY, or email studenttickets@psu.edu if you have additional questions.
