Melissa is an Adjunct Lecuturer in the English Department at The Pennsylvania State University. Melissa received her M.A. in English from the Pennsylvania State University where she teaches various English courses ranging from Rhetoric and Composition to Writing in the Social Sciences. Her start in teaching began as a Writing Tutor and Peer Research Consultant at Penn State where she developed an approach to learning centered on empathy, conversation, and community.
