Maya Champ graduated from Penn State last year with a Bachelor and Master of Accounting with minors in Spanish and Information Systems Management. Originally from Westerly, RI, she chose Penn State to step out of her comfort zone and experience the community of a large university. She currently works at PwC in their State and Local Tax Division while pursuing her CPA license. As a student at Penn State, she was part of the MAcc program. Maya has also been involved as a teaching assistant and a volunteer tutor for middle school students for the past few years. With a longstanding passion for teaching, she is excited to continue working with the Tierney Education team and support students in their academic journeys.
