Julianna graduated from Penn State University and the Schreyer Honors College in 2024, earning her BA in English and a minor in Biology. Her passion for working in education began at Penn State Learning, where she served as a writing tutor before realizing she had an interest in the behind the scenes work that goes into tutoring and took a role as a Peer Coordinator for the Writing Center. She went on to complete her MA in English at Penn State in 2025, during which she was the recipient of the Lehman Fellowship in fiction writing and worked as a research assistant.

After graduating with a Masters in English from Penn State, Julianna joined Tierney Education to continue supporting students in their academic journeys. In addition to helping students navigate college writing in a variety of subjects, she collaborates with students to ensure they leave a session with confidence and a strong understanding of the concepts. She also has extensive experience tutoring biology from the high school through college level.
