John Marchisotto is a senior at Penn State studying Mechanical Engineering. Originally from Canonsburg, PA, he combines a strong academic background with hands-on experience in research and engineering. At Penn State, John works as a physics tutor, where he helps students improve their understanding and performance by tailoring lessons to different learning styles. He enjoys making challenging concepts clear and approachable, and has helped students boost exam scores through engaging study strategies.

Outside of tutoring, John is involved in research through the Penn State PIPELINE program and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and he also takes part in community efforts like THON fundraising. In his free time, he enjoys basketball and volunteering with Susquehanna Service Dogs.
