Jessica Tanner Boette is a biological chemistry graduate student completing her masters at the University of Pittsburgh, where she researches covalent aptamer technology in the lab of Dr. Alexander Deiters. She holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in Philosophy from Southwestern University. Her work has appeared in the Journal of the American Chemical Society and ACS Chemical Biology, and she is dedicated to making science accessible through mentorship and science education.
