Cristina Mac Cormac

Economics & Political Science Tutor

Cristina Mac Cormac is a junior at Penn State University pursuing a double major in Economics and Political Science with a minor in Earth and Sustainability. She maintains a 3.9 GPA and is a member of both the Schreyer Honors College and the Paterno Fellows Program. On campus, Cristina works for the Economics Department as both a grader and tutor, roles she has held for over a year. Beyond academics, Cristina is deeply involved in student leadership. She is President of Lion Caucus, Penn State’s student advocacy organization, and serves in leadership roles within her pre-law fraternity, Kappa Alpha Pi, as well as student government, UPUA. Cristina enjoys helping fellow students grasp complex material and finds tutoring rewarding as it allows her to combine her academic background with her passion for mentorship. Originally from Chicago, Cristina enjoys spending her free time reading, traveling, and exploring the nature of central Pennsylvania. Around campus, you can often find her working at the HUB or relaxing in one of the downtown cafés.
